Many children in this mountainous region of Nepal receive little or no education because their parents cannot afford to send them to school or because they are needed to help their families by going out to work or looking after the younger children while their parents are in the fields. Also, many children are orphaned of one or both parents through accidents or poverty-related illnesses such as TB. They need our help.
